Flying site:  Monjolo,  ASL: 720m and AGL: 660m | the launch is inside a horseshoe valley, one of the many spines on a mountain chain that averages 1000m ASL.   The flats all around launch are on average 200ASL, and 100km flights are easy swith E,NE,N, with NW and SE being a bit more challenging.
How to get to launch: The flying site is located 20km from town. To get there, go to the town’s  highway round about (point of entrance) towards the town of Itaguaçu, until you see a sign on the right side of the road about 12km later (there will be a small sign). From there it is 8km to launch on a dirt road, also with proper signage.
Take off: 200m wide for multiple take offs.

Landing: official landing is next to the bifurcation that gives access to the dirt road.
Best season: December to July.
Pros: plenty of landing sites and stone formations creating conditions for quality XC flying. Protected from strong ocean breezes. Possibility to fly in almost every wind direction. Many roads to facilitate retrieval.
Cons: Not a beginner site in midday conditions.  Care must be taken in high wind launches because the bail out zone is harder to access.

How To Get: 
Its possible reach Baixo Guandu by bus from major big cities in Brasil,or by plane arriving at Vitoria airport.
The suggestion is first go to Vitoria airport (nearest) by plane and them go to Baixo Guandu far 177 km: By Bus: 4h From Vitória: Go to bus station in Vitoria center or get the taxi to Serra Aguia Branca bus station, 10 min far from the airport . Buy the ticket by the website: https://www.aguiabranca.com.br/Passagem/ComprarPassagem By train. 5h Go to cariacica, Pedro Nolasco train station by taxi ( about 40 min from airport) by the ticket at: http://www.vale.com/brasil/EN/business/logistics/railways/Passenger-Train-Vitoria-Minas/Pages/default.aspx By Car: 3h From Vitória: Take the north highway on BR 101 until the João Neiva (82 Km – a small town) intersection, which puts you on BR259 to Colatina (50 Km). In colatina take the road to Baixo Guandu (45 Km). It is about 2,5 hours and 177 Km from Vitoria. The taxi charge about 500 reais from vitoria to Baixo Guandu( for until 4 persons with a doblo fiat ) * always ask for a better price !
