The 20th Schmittenpokal is history!

We want to thank all the pilots who flew the competition despite the challenging weather forecast and for your patience during the competition.

Congratulations to the winners for there outstanding performance and we are very happy that no one was hurt. 

The payment for the pilots who stayed at home ends at June 9th.

Update! Day 3 is canceled! - 2017-06-04 10:26

Day 3 of the Schmittenpokal is canceled! 
The cold front is not moving fast enough to give us a chance for a flight so we had to cancel the day.

Next meeting tommorow morning at 8:45 AM for the transfer to the Schmittenhöhe.

The weather forecast for now is rain and strong wind up to 30Km/h,
But the cell is moving fast.
The Briefing is delayed to 1 PM to see if there is a chance to have a late flight in Hollersbach.

The weather looks fine for today so we will fly an interesting task in Pinzgau!

Unfortunately the weatherforcast was better than the weather is actually. We had to cancel the task, but busses will go to Schmittenbahn for free flying.
Tomorrow looks better. Buses will leave landing area at 8:45. Be in time as Schmittenbahn is usually crowded. If you are late you might to queue on the entry of the Schmittenbahn
