The task with 103km was well set, about 70 pilots in goal.
Today evening pilots party with free beer :) and food.
For tomorow forecast looks also flyable. Driving up again at 9:00 am..

3. Alpen Cup 2016
Int. FAI 2 Paragliding Competition
CIVL-Cat. II competition, joined by the Austrian, German, Italian and Slovenian Paragliding League. Organized by Oberdrautaler Flugsportclub on behalf of Austrian Paragliding League / Austrian Aeroclub.

Liability:
The participation in this competition is at own risk of each pilot. The organizer takes no responsibility for pilots or any other third parties. Any transfer to take off and retrieval shuttle service are at own risk of pilots.
Participation requirements:
Each pilot must have a helmet, a rescue parachute, a certified harness, a GPS device for scoring, a valid pilot license, a FAI sporting license and a third party liability insurance (€ 1.500.000,-) valid in Austria. If you need an third party liavility insurance, you will have the chance to make a contract on the first competition day.
Only certified gliders (up to EN-D) are allowed.
The local regulations of the Austrian Aeroclub, the FAI sporting code and the local flight regulations must be accepted.
GPS-Registration:
Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. and
Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at headquarter
Please bring your GPS (also the Backup) as soon as possible or download the waypoints on your own.
Documentation:
The documentation of the task will be done only by GPS. analysis according rule of the Austrian Paragliding League.
Please bring your own cable to connect your GPS device.
Retrieve:
The organizer is offering a retrieve service along the main roads and if necessary also in cooperation with the existing public transport.
Cancellation:
Final decision on Tuesday June 21st, 2016, 12:00 a.m. announced at www.paragleiter.org.
In case of bad weather, the competition could be shortened day by day (e. g.: Announcement on Tuesday, 12:00 a.m. that Thursday is canceled).
Protest:
Protests may be made 30 minutes after the official competition scoring in written form.
Protest fee of € 36 has to be paid at once.

Participates:
150 participates allowed as maximum
35 reserved places for each Paragliding league from:
Austrian League
German League
Italian League
Slovenian League
If an nation is not exhausting all 35 places, non-nominated pilots from the waiting list will move in. (see “registration” for further details).
The organizer can give 10 wildcards.
Registration :
Online-Registration at the website
The Online-Registration is open until May 10th, 2016.
On May 11th, 2016 the chairmen of the 4 participating Paragliding Leagues will nominate their 35 pilots out of the list of registered pilots.
All registered pilots, which are not nominated, will move to the waiting list.
Nominated pilots will be informed by e-mail with the call to pay the entry fee.
If the entry fee is not paid until May 17th, 2016 the pilot will be discard and a pilot from the waiting list will move in.
Waiting list:
The order of the waiting list will be by nation and world ranking, reference date April 1st, 2016.
If a place becomes free, the best placed pilot of this nation will move in.
If their is no pilot of this nation on the waiting list anymore, the best placed pilot will move in, irrelevant which nation.Entry fee:
€ 125,-
The entry fee has to be paid as soon as you receive the e-mail from the organizer. (see “Registration”).
Basically the organizer will not refund the entry fee to nonappearance pilots.
In case the competition has to be canceled due to bad weather € 110,- of the entry fee will be refunded, the remaining € 15,- will be used for the expenses of the organizer.
